Multiple Problems

Hi 

I am encountering a couple of different problems with Fences:

  1. I cannot add new icons to existing fences
  2. When I attempt to create a new fence I get the little dialog that looks like the process is going to work but no fence is actually created
  3. I can't get the Fence app to launch, when I click it, it doesn't seem to launch. 

Some background: I was previously encountering a different problem with Fences ( when i moved the Fence the fenced-in icons did not move with the fence) so i have just upgraded from Fences 2.x to 3.x.

 

Also, would be great to know how to confirm exactly what version is currently running.

Hello,

Sorry to hear you are having issues.

Here a few answers . Right Click on Desktop and un check Lock Fences to make new fences.

Make sure in Task Manager Both Fences settings are enabled 

To Check Fences version open the Fences app

Thanks, unfortunately, it seems like something else is going on here:

  1.  Fences are not locked
  2. When I go into Task Manager there is only one Fence icon
  3. The Fences app does not launch - when I click on it nothing happens

Any additional feedback is appreciated!

Reboot and ReInstall the latest version from your account page https://store.stardock.com/myaccount/products/

Reboot , Test and report back here please.
