DeskScapes background window minimizes on minimize all command

Possible bug within the background window

When using the keyboard shortcut WIN + D or clicking the bottom right of the taskbar to minimize all the windows, the DESKSCAPES window behind the desktop listview also minimizes, showing a black background.

The only way to get it back is to use the keyboard shortcut to enter the task switcher, or to maximize all the windows. Then, the DESKSCAPES window is restored and the background can be seen again.

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. Need to know more.

1) Windows version. Please use Winver.exe for full Windows version numbers.

2) Deskscape version.

3) A video grab of this issue and post the video link here so we can understand the issue better.

Thanks

Hello Basj,

Window 10 Version: Version 1909 OS Build 18363.900 (same thing happens on latest build of windows 10 version 2004)

DeskScapes version: 10.02

Both winver and deskscapes versions information is in the video here. Notice how first, when clicking minimize all button in the taskbar, the background goes black. I also click WIN + D in the video to minimize all the windows, notice how the background goes black aswell.

Hello,

I can't recreate the issue on my system. Please try purge and reinstall steps as mentioned here:  https://forums.stardock.com/485954/deskscapes-support-faq#reinstalling Just make sure to re download the latest version from your account. Reboot after the purged. Reinstall, and Reboot again after the installation. Retest it. Report back here.

Thank you,

Hello,

I've reinstalled and noticed something. When using an animated background, the problem does not exist. However, if I set the background to a picture, the problem occurs.

But nevertheless, the problem is still there even after reinstalling.
