Extracted files would go to random fences

I've already set Fences to put all new icons and all types of files into my "Download" fence by default. Most of the time it works just fine. But sometimes when I extracted some files, they would go to my other fences at random. This is pretty annoying since I have to spend time finding out where the files actually went. How do I make sure the rules are followed every time?

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. Need to know more on your system

1) Windows version, please use winver.exe for full version numbers.

2) Fences versions.

3) Never saw that happened before. Please upload a captured video of the issue so we can understand it better. That said, sometimes, compressed files does comes with own folder setting, which might causing the issues.

Thanks for the reply, here's more details.

1. Windows 10 Version 1903 18362.535

2. 3.0.9.11

3. It's pretty hard to reproduce this issue but it seems to occur more often when I try to drag and drop the contents of an archieve file and the desktop gets slow. There's one time the extracted file even got stuck on the background desktop without being moved to any of the fences.

Would like to know what compression software was use when you decompress those files.

Thanks

I use winrar and bandizip interchangeably and it seems to happen to both. I think when I drag and drop the extracted file to a non-default fence by accident the software sometimes will get confused as to where the file should go and end up placing the file in random fences.

Would help if you just drag and drop to free desktop area, where there is no fences on it. And let Fences handle the move the new documents to your "Download" Fence.

Thank you,
