Context Menu (right click) doesn't work

Hello,

I have installed fences 3 after re installing windows. When I right click on the desktop Context Menu doesn't show up for a long time and busy icon on the mouse appears instead. After waiting for like minute context menu appears but fences menu is not there.

I have tried purge fences and reinstall. No luck so far.

Could you please help

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. Need to know more.

1) Windows version, please use Winver.exe for full Windows version numbers.

2) Fences version.

3) Does the right click working as normal when you did the purge, before the re-installation of Fences?

Hello,

Thanks for your reply.

Quoting basj, reply 1

End of basj's quote

  1. Windows version: Windows Home Single Language 1903
    Build: 18362.900
  2. Fences Version: 3.09
  3. Right click is not working normal after purge, I'm not sure if it was working fine before. I have installed fences right after re-installation of windows but I don't remember having issues before the installation.

Please try the following:

-For Win8/10 Users: Open the Start Screen, and type 'cmd'. Right-click on the search result and select 'Run as administrator' from below.

-Type: sfc /scannow

-Wait for the scan to complete (this can take several minutes)

Some help on how this looks should you need it:

If the SFC finds errors, but cannot fix them, please also run the following command in the same command prompt window:

dism.exe /online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth

Some help on how this looks should you need it:

The above command should assist with replacing any damaged or problematic system files. Please note, however, since it may require restoring certain files, this process can take some time and you will need to be patient until it has completed.

Please let me know whether this resolves your problem or if you have any additional questions.

Thank you,

I have tried sfc /scannow. It did'nt find and integrity problems. I have tried "dism.exe /online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth" command anyway. But it also didn't help with the problem.

I have figured my problem was not related with Fences contect menu item. It was Nvidia context menu causing slow load. Problem fixed when i disabled Nvidia context menus with SellExView software.

Sorry for the trouble.
