Ultimate Edition on Steam

Hi, I purchased GalCiv3 a few years ago on Steam, base game only, and then never played it.  Noticing that it was one of the featured franchises for the summer sale on a whim I played it this weekend and enjoyed it, so thought to buy the Ultimate Pack.  Unfortunately it won't let me purchase it because I own the base game, and even trying to remove it from my library doesn't help.  I contacted Steam support and they referred me to you.

 

I'll be very honest - I *want* to spend the 40 dollars for the ultimate bundle, but there's no chance I'm paying full cost of the various expansions and dlc which means the game will just get backburnered again.  Please help me pay you money!

Since you own the basic game which is included in GALACTIC CIVILIZATIONS III ULTIMATE EDITION, so even if you self removed this game, you can't buy this edition, either.

You can try to contact game Support for some possible ways to upgrade to ULTIMATE EDITION.

Same thing happened to me. Very disappointed. I would have happily bought the set, but because I bought the base game now I can't get the addons. Steam won't let me buy the ultimate edition and says it's a decision by Stardock. I don't know any other way to get to Stardock games but ANY help would be appreciated!

No response at all? I was hoping for something, I have to admit. Seems so wacky that I WANT to pay but can't. :-(

Stardock is in the US.  For the past few days they have been on the 4th July holiday break so there's a gap in responses.

I'm 10000 miles away so don't get the holiday....but also can't help you directly...;)
