Hi gentlemen!
Thanks AzDude. Not going as planned though.
After successfully running the batch file (right clicking on it did not bring the box shown. I got the smaller one with no "Run as Admin" there), it was still installed. I went in Control Panel and tried from there; it was still present. Trying to uninstall from Ctrl P. returned an error: sd....exe could not be found. Tried again and got the reboot dialog. I clicked OK. That was a good 20 minutes ago. But the screen I got is not "right". It's a blue screen with the little white dots going in a circle with the message: "Getting Windows ready. Don't turn off your computer." That doesn't look good.
Thanks to JanOscar also... I must confess that I never read their EULA. Now I know!
But what I find strange is that it was always fine at 2 installs until about 5 ~ 6 weeks ago. Also, it affects ONLY the laptop. The PC install is never an issue. I would think that both would be affected, at least in turn, when one is used, the other being disabled. I might just contact Sales and ask for their opinion, since it is used on only one at a time. Other apps allow 2 to 3 seats, so I thought Fences was the same. In the end, I might just remove it from the laptop. In hindsight, I always install on the PC first and the laptop second. That might explain the issue being only on the laptop. V3 was installed in April and the problems started shortly thereafter. So JAnOscar, seems like you're right! Means I'm wrong.
Now, it's looking good again: Windows took the opportuntity to update. Must be a large one 'cuz it's very slow.
So thanks to you both, and best regards. I appreciate your help!
John
