Had fences hidden for a few days. Tried to unhide.. NO fences! All gone

Been using Fences for years and really like it.

Recently I must have doubleclicked or something... because everything was gone. No worries.. I've done that many times.

However, after a few days I wanted to make sure some icons were in the correct fence group. Guess what: Fences gone! Only the icons that have been outside fences are visible, the rest is gone. I see them in my explorer, but not on my desktop..

And yes, I did a Fences restore .. didn't help. (that actually brought my icons OUTSIDE the fences back)....

 

uhm.... help?

Hello,

Sorry to hear you are having issues.

Did you try restoring a Snapshot in the Fences app. then set to Lonk .

I actually downloaded and installed Fences again over my old installation, rebooted and it was back. Was still missing some icons, but at least the fences were back. Moving the missing stuff (in explorer) to another folder and then back fixed the missing icons.. Weird behavior, but at least it's fixed.
