Anybody know a good tutorial book on .asp?

I want to learn more and while the w3schools website is cool and all, I need some more help.

Anybody know a good book (beginners) that I can take a look at for asp sever side scripting?

Help much appreciated.

Joe if your talking about the World Wide Web Consortium, i just finished a class for it at college. The book i was taught from for HTML code and XML is called ...New Perspectives ..Creating Web pages with HTML 3rd Edition Writin by Patrick Carey ..can find it on the Web Under Thomson Course Technology ..hope this helps

I have 3 books on ASP. I haven't looked at them yet since I still have to see if my host that I'm with now supports ASP. I know they support PHP so I don't think they support ASP. I have to look up on all of this. Most of it I'll be learning at school. I start Web Development at ITT-Tech the week of Sept 8th. So that's where I'll be getting the additional info on how to do things that I haven't already learned.

The Three Books I have:
1)ASP 3.0 A Beginner's Guide: I have to find out if there is a 4 out. But by what I've looked at already in this book. This might be a start your looking for.

2)Instant ASP Components: Teaches you how to understand the components, make your own, and use pre-built ones.

3)Instant ASP Scripts: Teaches you how to understand the scripts, make your own, and use pre-built ones.

Cool!

I was wondering if someone had a step by step book like 'HTML For The World Wide Web' by Elizabeth Castro (I live and breathe by that book for HTML)

It is a Visual Quick Start book.

Anyway, asp seems simple enough, to bad I don't quite get it yet...

I'll give ASP: A Beginners Guide' a shot

(the 'For Dummies Series' never worked for me for some reason)
