Restoring original windows xp folders

can someone please help me. I deleted all my windows blinds etc. programs but the folder icons that were in one of the themes i downloaded wont go away and i cant chage them? what do i do?

to restore xp folders go to the command prompt (ms dos prompt) and type sfc\scannow

kona, you got the slash going the wrong way. This will restore every Windows system file that's changed, which could include some updates? I'm not sure I'd want to run that utility with all the changes my system has gone through... does anyone know if it's safe to run this?

An easier way might be to reinstall Icon Packager and reset the icons from there.

David got it right....re-install Icon Packager (if it was un-installed), load Windows Default icons and then uninstall Icon Packager
