Bug: "Classic Icons" move into two columns in narrow Fence

Hello.
Win10/64 build 1903, new installation (1 day old), dual monitors. Fences v2.13 (because I can't afford the upgrade and this version does what I need)

Issue: When switching from Medium Icons to Classic Icons, icons sort to two columns instead of remaining one column.

To duplicate:

  1. Create a long, narrow vertical fence containing a single column of Medium Icons (rightclick Desktop, View, Medium Icons).
  2. Adjust width of Fence so that it's as narrow as allowed. Icons arrange themselves in one narrow column as constrained by Fence.
  3. Rightclick Desktop, View, choose "Classic Icons."
  • Result:
Icons move to two columns inside Fence and some are hidden behind right vertical edge of Fence. Narrowing Fence does not constrain icons to one column in side Fence.
  • Expect:
Icons to stay in one column and constrained by Fence.

Hello,

Sorry to hear you are having trouble.

I am afraid that Fences 2 is no longer sold, supported, nor does it work consistently on Windows 10.

It would be prudent to install the Fences 3 trial to see if indeed it works as you would expect.
