Strange problem with Fences

One Icon "Escapes" Almost Every Day

I am running Windows 10 Build 1903.  Fences ver 2.13.  I am running on two monitors. The left monitor is my main monitor and all of the fences I have are on that monitor. Recently, one program icon has begun to "escape" the fence it is in and move to the middle of my second monitor about one-fourth of the way down from the top. It seems to do this by itself. When I leave the computer in the evening, the icon is in its fence. When I next open the computer in the morning the icon has moved. I drag the icon back to its fence and it stays there but moves overnight and is on the right-hand screen the next morning.

I have six separate fences, each containing 4 to 12 icons. None of the other icons in the same fence as the "escaper" ever move nor do any icons in any of my other fences. It is always the same icon that moves.

Ideas??

Thanks for any ideas.

Hello,

Sorry to hear you are having trouble.

I am afraid that Fences 2 is no longer sold or supported (for many years).

That said, it sounds like a file that is being synced with an online cloud version perhaps?

Hello,

I have the same problem with the latest version of Fences.

I can sort the fences on both monitors and everything is ok.

After a reboot all fences from the second monitor are on the mainscreen.

I have tried different approaches but all the time the same result.

Thanks

Wolfgang
