Fences 3 on Windows 10 don't work

Hi,

I tried purge and re-install but without effect. Still the same behavior, not working at all.

Hi,

I don't have total 360 installed.

Symantec Endpoint Protection is a firewall and antivirus, and during installation of Fences 3 it didn't report any threats.

Unfortunately, I don't have administrator rights on this computer :/

Hello,

Need to iron out which programs is blocking Fences. If you can or get your IT people to help, try the Cleanboot steps as mentioned here : https://forums.stardock.com/486084/fences-support-faq#cleanboot

Try it and report back.

Unfortunately I can't make celeanboot. My IT department will not help me with this.

It's also interesting that other programs such as Groups and SpaceMonger do not work either.

Even the window for entering the email address and the key does not appear.

It's notebook HP 840 g6:

  • CPU: Intel Core i5-8365U, 
  • GPU: Intel UHD Graphics 620
  • LCD: 14" Full HD
  • Storage: 512 SSD M.2
  • RAM: DDR4 8GB
  • Windows 10 64-bit Enterprise

 

Today I tried to install cursorFX and after the installation I got the error like in the screenshot:

This would seem to be a clear indication that the PC, under company Group Policies likely, are prime suspects.

IT department helped^_^ . The guy who fixes these problems is really cool. The system has been reinstalled and now fences 3.0 is working. Cursor FX and SpaceMonger also work. Thank you for your help.
