Mouse cursor size bug

Mouse cursor size bug

Every time I use Multiplicity to switch PC, my cursor on the master PC become big and low res. With time, it seem to become lower and lower util i can see individual pixel.

The slave have 2 4k screen and the master have one 2560 x 1800 and one 4k.

The cursor only change on the 2560 x 1800.

All 4k monitor are set to zoom 150%.

If I go in the setting and i change the cursor size, it fix the problem util I use Multiplicity to switch PC again.

I really like the software as its more responsive than others that i used in the past but this bug is very annoying.

I understand that i have a non conventional setup but i hope we can fix this :).

We have a build in testing which should hopefully address this issue.

Sorry I should have updated this thread.

The fix is in testing as Multiplicity 3.5 beta.  This should be downloadable from your downloads in the website when you are logged in.

I can't see the beta, how do I get it, I love Multiplicity 3 but cannot cope with the mouse issu and have had to resort to a competitor :(

It's no longer in beta, 3.5 is live and should be on your account if you own Multiplicity 3:

Sorry I'm late!

I found a workaround!

You must do this every time you reboot windows though... and it does not have animated cursor support (animation will freeze)

- find CursorFX.exe
- Right Click
- Properties
- Compatibility
- Tick Override High DPI Scaling Behaviour
- Scaling Performed by: Application
- Apply Save Exit
- Reboot PC
- Start CursorFX
- Select Your Cursor & Set Correct Size
- Open Task Manager (Right Click Taskbar or press CTRL+ALT+DELETE)
- Details
- End CursorFX + CursorFXConfig exes

Cursor size will freeze across all displays no matter what.

Hoping this will contribute towards the devs being able to program in some sort of freeze function while simultaneously maintaining animation support.

Hope this helps people who were as frustrated as myself on size change / flickers / etc.
