Cursor goes behind certain elements

I'm using CursorFX with Windows 10 64-bit 1909. When I have CursorFX cursors turned on, regardless of which I use, they'll always go behind certain on-screen elements. For example, if the Start Menu is open, the cursor is actually behind the start menu but I can still click on items and can see which items I'm hovering over. The same goes for any contextual menus that were activated from the taskbar. I'm also seeing this problem with text fields in applications like GIMP but that's a lesser concern.

I've stumbled upon several forum discussions on here in regards to the same issue chock full of other people chiming in just to say it doesn't happen to them with no attempt at trying to find the solution.

Below are screenshots of the issue.

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. I can't seem to recreate the issue on my system. Is the problem happened all the time or certain things need to happen? Cursorfx Style dependent? Any other details so I can try to recreate the issue.

Thanks

This problem is present all the time. Doesn't matter what styles I choose in CursorFX unless I choose the standard Windows cursors. Not sure if its relevant but I have installed and am using the following Stardock applications as well. Fences, Screenscapes, WindowsFX, WindowBlinds, Groupy.

Hello,

Need to know if you are using CursorFX v2 or V4 beta?

I started having this issue years ago and was told my install of Win 7 was faulty. I did a complete reformat and install of Win 7 and CFX and the problem was still there so it wasn't an issue with my rig. After that, I removed CFX. If this issue can be corrected, I'll gladly buy the newest version and use the premium cursors I bought many years ago.

For me it's intermittent.  Both versions of CFX.  I assume it's something else.

Looking at your previous posts, I saw you mentioned that you have lots of Stardock Products. Do you have ObjectDesktop pack? If you do and the sub is still active you should test out CursorFX V4 beta. It should be available in your download list.

Unfortunately I don't have ObjectDesktop, I had purchased these applications through the recent Humble Bundle and it didn't come with that application.

I've had this issue before as well but it was primarily happening with the Steam menu, but sometimes with other things as well, and haven't used cursor fx since.
