How can I delete recent contents?

When I delete background, an original file is deleted.

Hello,

It's unclear exactly what you are asking.  Are you asking to remove an entry from 'Recent' but keep the actual Dream / Background?

The current Deskscapes will not install.  After download it reports:

"Deskscapes - Cannot find the install file.  Please close and re-open OBject Desktop, then try again."

Obviously, I have tried the advised steps.

What now?

Please try to download directly from your account here : https://store.stardock.com/myaccount/products

and try installing again.

You can delete them\any from the registry key:

\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Stardock\Deskscapes\Deskscapes10\Recent
