( Solved ) Old HumbleBundle-Key invalid

Greetings,

In November 2016 I bought the "Humble Lifehacker Software Bundle", including Fences and DeskScapes. I redeemed both keys but only started to use Fences. Today I looked through my purchases and saw that I have a key for DeskScapes.

So I downloaded the current DeskScapes version and tried to activate it with my old key. But I received the message that the product key was invalid (I tried to use my HumbleBundle mail and my current Stardock mail to have my keys sent to me, but the DeskScapes key was not included).

I fear I know where this is going, but I still want to ask: Is my redeemed key invalid because it had not been used in all these years? Or is it only valid for an older version of DeskScapes?

Hello,

Sorry to hear you are having issues.

Your Key was for an older version of DeskScapes and if your have your original install for that version

it should work ( older version not available abymore.

For the New Latest version of DeskScapes 10 you will need a new Key which you

can buy from here https://www.stardock.com/products/deskscapes/

or Bundle as part of Object Desktop - including many other apps. here https://www.stardock.com/products/deskscapes/download

Good evening,

Thank you for the quick response. You were right, Desk Scapes 8 has accepted my old key. I will try it out for some time and will consider upgrading to the new version. As the problem has been solved, this thread can be closed (I do not know if the forum here closes finished threads or just let them rest).
