Can't Uninstall Fences?

Hello everybody,

As the title says, I have a problem with uninstalling Fences. I got the app some time ago as part of a humble bundle, but right now I'm just not using it anymore so I wanted to uninstall it. 

So I uninstalled it via the Apps & Features screen in Windows 10. I deleted the installation folder. I even purged it, as was recommened in another thread.

But still Fences is running on my PC. I get the prompt to enter or purchase a product key when I right-click my desktop, which is annoying (to put it mildly). I can still drag Fences on my desktop. And they then mess up my shortcuts.

So what can I do to remove Fences completely?

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. Just to make sure, please try the purge again. And make sure to reboot after the purge, retest it and report back. And, please post any error show up when the purge is taking place.

Hello basj,

per your suggestion I ran the Purge again and rebooted my system immediately after. Since Fences 3 was still running on my system afterwards, I ran it again, just to screenshot the entire process. Since that - metaphorically speaking - fried my windows explorer, I rebooted yet again, and now Fences appears to be gone, so that worked out. If it'll appear again, I'll make a note here, but for now: problem solved. Thanks!
