Uninstalling Fences 2

I have upgraded from Fences 2 to Fences 3.

Because I intend to perform an upgrade from Windows 7 to Windows 10, I want to uninstall the "rest" of Fences 2.
So far I had no problems with the leftover Fences 2 installation which rests on my Windows 7 system but I fear that this leftover of Fences 2 may cause problems while upgrading to Win 10.

So the question is: How to remove the Fences 2 installation?
And: Should I uninstall Fences 3 also before upgrading to Win 10 or will the conversion process run through?
In other words Did someone perform Win 10 upgrade process with Fences installed?

Reboot , then go to your account and install Fences 3 from there https://store.stardock.com/myaccount/products/

Reboot and do your Win 10 upgrade when ready .

Let me ask a question: If I do a uninstall and then a reboot - are then my Places 2 settings (windows arrangements) lost?
