View resets to "Classic Icons" at reboot

I recently upgraded to Windows 10 and am now having an issue with "view" resetting each time I boot. For some fences, I prefer to see the items in "detail" view vs "classic icons". Yet, every time I boot, every fence resets the view to "classic icons". This did not happen in prior installs. Is there a way to get my fences to maintain the "view" they're set at?

No doubt you are referring to folder portals.  It would be best to set them, the views for each folder, in Windows Explorer itself then see if you see it set for the Folder portals...

Thanks, Sean. Yes, I'm using folder portals. Apologies for not mentioning that in the original post. I set the folder views in Windows Explorer as suggested but that didn't work. They're still set in Windows Explorer...but once again reset in my folder portals. Any other ideas?

Just in case it matters, I should also mention, these folder portals are accessing OneDrive folders. Views didn't reset like this when using Win7. Just started when I was upgraded last week to Win10. Thanks!
