Fence disappeared

from Stardock Forums

Running Win 10, and Fences 2.12. 

I have 5 fences defined and have various icons in each fence.  I had added a new app and it dropped a new icon on the desktop between 2 fences not in either one.  I went to pick it up and move it into on of the fences and when I did that the fence on the right side of where the icon was disappeared.  It shows up for a second when I reboot the PC or if I to a screen refresh (right click on desktop, then refresh) thern it disappears again.  Double clicking to hide/show fences doesn't help. I can't remove the fence and make a replacement as you can't remove a fence you can't see.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. Never use Fences V2 before so not really sure how to help. Would like to suggest to upgrade to Fences V3 for better compatibility on Current Windows 10 version and Support.

Okay, I updated to the newest version 3.0.9.11 and the fence is still gone.  The only difference is that when I refresh the screen it no longer shows up for a second then disappears again, it's always gone.

Under the color & appearance screen I can still see the fence is listed in the pull-down menu to select which fences you want to apply changes to.

Any help now?=

Hello,

Please check if you have send the fences to another desktop page. Or you can Disable Desktop page and see if all the fences return.

The fence is not located on either display.   Setting display setting to single display does not fix the problem. 

I did disable pages and the fence magically reappeared.  Weird thing is I did scan through the pages but was unable to find it anywhere.  At least this works and I really only need a single page.
