non acrylic blur

When the non acrylic blur is selected under settings and the display is slide show, the taskbar changes slides 1 or 2 seconds before the rest of the screen.

I havent figured out how to use those links. Can I email the video to you?

You can email it to me or Mike (Azdude). But before that please try the purge and reinstall steps as mentioned here : https://forums.stardock.com/486023/windowblinds-support-faq#reinstalling

Just make sure to re-download the latest version from your account. Reboot after the purge. Reinstall using the latest version you just download. Reboot again after the installation. Retest and report back.

I did the purge, reinstall, restart but there is still a slight delay between the screen change and the taskbar change. When I have the settings on force blur instead of non acrylic blur I do not get this delay.

I believe there will always slight delay, possibly less than a second, for WB to render the blur properly. Some theme might take longer to render since it might have multi-layer graphics implement on the taskbar. I am not a developer but talking from what I see from years of WB use.

Thanks

Ok thanks for your help. I notice you are one of the top skinners for windowblinds. Now that microsoft is ending support for windows 7, if you could develop a skin for windows 10 which was exactly like windows 7 taskbar (including size, shades, lines, blur, etc) you could sell thousands to people forced to change to windows 10. I know I would buy one. Thanks again.
