Dear All,
I saw a post from 2011 on this but was expecting this is no longer an issue.
I exclude Excel, Microsoft ONENOTE from WindwoBlinds without any effect. Is anyone experiencing the same? What can be the solution?

Sorry to hear you are having issues.
1) MS Office suite does not work with Windowblinds.
2) If the theme you applying in Windowblinds change Windows System Color. Once the System color is change. Than all application, including the excluded ones will effected. This is specially can be seen with dark theme where the theme author change Windows background and Windows text color to something else.

Are you telling me that you have developed a product for Windows that is unable to work with the most basic and widely used products called Microsoft Office? I need to have my Excel worksheet greyed out with WindowBlinds? Is this a joke?

What he means is Office skins itself so will not pickup on the WB skin in many places.
However it will pickup on the system wide colour scheme which is part of a skin. This is not something that can be excluded from an app as the Windows colour scheme is global.
In this case it sounds like the skin you are using has a grey window colour Vs white which is why you are having a problem.
Using another skin that's using white for a window colour would avoid your issue.
In short this is a skin issue not a WindowBlinds one.
