Fences : After lasted updated 3.0.9.11 Desktop/Windows are total black

Hi,

yesterday Fences proposed me latest update (3.0.9.11) and I accepted but now desktop is total black ( removed original picture ) and also all windows ( see screenshot) .I tried to restore daily snapshot but...nothing to do.

Could you help me to solve this issue?

OS. Windows 10

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. Try the purge and reinstall steps as mentioned here : https://forums.stardock.com/486084/fences-support-faq#reinstalling

Just makesure to re-download the latest version from your account. Reboot after the purge, re-install it. Reboot again. And retest. Report back.

Hi Basj,

thank you for your quick reply. I followed your procedure but .... nothing to do :-( 

Desktop and windows background are totally black , lost my original wallpaper and unable to restore snapshot taken 2 days ago.

I tried :

  • latest trial   (Fences3-sd-setup.exe)
  • latest available under My downloads : (Fences_3.09_setup_sd.exe)

Other suggestions ?

Does the wallpaper return if you disable Fences?
