Multiplicity constantly disconnects and mouse disappears

Using Multiplicity 3.44 on 2 Windows 7 desktops.   Today, I have been constantly having to restart the Multiplicity service in order for it to reconnect to the secondary workstation and/or to get the mouse to show consistently on my primary machine.
