Deskscapes Black Screen for downloaded wallpapers

Recently purchased deskscapes, and it was fine up until a week ago where suddenly my downloaded cinemagraphs stopped working and upon application, just turns the desktop wallpaper black. I have tried reinstalling, purging, installing all of the codecs and mmpeg from microsoft, and still to no avail. I have run the support tool and have the logs, so I can provide that to Stardock Support as well.

Do the stock dreams (the ones that ship with DS) work - is it just ones you have downloaded?

The stock ones do indeed work (rotating planets). However, if I try to use one of my cinemagraphs, it refuses to load/apply/black screen.

How are they encoded?  Can you share a link to one here (GoogleDrive, DropBox, OneDrive)?

Can you think of what may have changed (update, install new software)?

They are encoded as mp4's.  Here is an example of one. As for installations, I can't really thing of any potential compatability issues that caused it.

Try reformatting to WMV and then see if that works for you .MP4 won't work.

Have you tried the other render options?

Also check what version you are using.  You should be on 10.02
