Stardock Summer Vacation 2026

Stardock will be closed for the week starting on Monday, June 29th and we will be returning on Monday, July 6th. We will be monitoring support tickets and forums during this time but expect delays in responses during this time.

Using Fences 2.13 on Win 10 Just Fine...but am I missing anything worth upgrading for?

I registered Fences years ago and it has been a consistent and stable part of my UI ever since. I mainly just take advantage of desktop groupings, a couple simple rules and also having a couple Folder Portals.

When newer versions came out, I didn't feel the need to upgrade. However...time keeps moving...newer versions and point releases have accumulated.

Can anyone offer any strong likes or dislikes towards the idea of me upgrading or simply staying put?

One area Im trying to use more and more is Win 10's native ability for multiple Desktops....but the shortfall I experience with that is that they are not preserved upon a reboot.
