Folder Portals just started working improperly

Hello I am having issues with some of my folder portals.

Some icons in my folder portals, when I mouseover, do not highlight as they normally do others in the same portal do highlight.

When I click on any the icons that do not highlight, it opens another file (the same file each time) in a totally different location.

If I right click on any of the icons that do not respond to mouseovers and select "properties" it displays the file location of same incorrect file I mentioned earlier.

I am not sure what to do.  I even tried copying all the files in the folder portal to another folder and adding that folder as a folder portal to the desktop and the same behavior results.

 

Please help, everything was working correctly for years and now I am out of ideas.  I tried rebooting and checking that stardock was not locked under the view menu.

Sorry to hear you are having issues. Please try the purge and reinstall steps : https://forums.stardock.com/486084/fences-support-faq#reinstalling

Just make sure to re-download the latest version from your account. Reinstall that version after the purge,s reboot and reboot again after the install. Retest and report back.
