Can't activate - Fences is telling me I've already got it installed on another computer

I purchased Fences 2 a great many years ago (2012 to be exact) and with MS support for Windows 7 finally going away, I finally decided to upgrade to Windows 10. When I try to activate Fences, I get an error message that I’ve already got Fences installed on another computer. I've only ever had Fences installed on my workstation, so this message is a load. I'd like to reinstall it without this grief. If anyone can help without sending me off on a wild goose chase around the Stardock website and forums, that'd be great.
