Anyone else have an issue with the latest update to Start10?

I'm a little afraid to try again. After updating and rebooting, my system would boot, and I had to do a System Restore to last week to get my machine back up and running.  Was this a one-time thing, or did anyone else experience that?

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. But no such report so far on latest Start10 updates v1.75 except yours. Please try again. Btw, please try the purge or older Start10 using this steps: https://forums.stardock.com/486022/start10-support-faq#reinstalling

Just make sure to re-download the latest installer from your account. Reboot after the purge. Install the new Start10. Reboot again. And report back here.

Thanks

I also have problems with update 1.75. Colours have changed. The icons like time, battery etc. down the bottom right can not be seen, have to put the cursor over them to see them. How can I get the older version back? I had no problems with it.

Have you told Start10 to override your taskbar and give you a black one?

You cannot set your OS to have a white taskbar and then set Start10 to have a black one or those little icons will paint as black which will be invisible on your taskbar.

I have not done anything more than downloaded the latest version of Start 10. I have never had any problems before when I have updated Start 10. I have not chosen to have another colour of the taskbar in OS. I want to have the icons visible as well as the information to the right of the taskbar, like battery, date etc.

I am very confused because of this. Shall I uninstall the program and make a new installation?

Hello, would like to suggest for you to do the purge and reinstall steps : https://forums.stardock.com/486022/start10-support-faq#reinstalling

Just make sure to re-download the latest installer again from your account. Reinstall that version and reboot again. Retest it and report back.

Thank you,

I have re-installed the program and it seems to work without problems. My photo has also returned, it disappeared when I updated.

Thank you very much for your help.
