Purge and Reinstall

If I do this, will I lose my current Snapshot?  I do not want to have to re-organize my hundreds of icons!

(Also, please re-post instructions for doing the purge and reinstall when you reply, thank you).

BTW: My purpose for doing this: when I double an icon on the desktop to launch a program, the response is really slow - like I'm running a really old computer with no SSD!  (Fences is cheap, but fast computers are not - and I really hate throwing away $2K!)

Here's how to backup your Fences https://forums.stardock.com/486084/fences-support-faq#backupsnapshots

Even though you do a Purge your snapshots are still there with the new install

but wise to keep a backup just in case of an unknown issue .
