I just purchased fences and installed it on my desktop and laptop. Is this subscription valid for 2 computers? or do I have to purchase it for the other one? Is this an annual fee that is auto renewable? Diane

There is no subscription if you purchase individual product such as Fences. As far as I know subscription only applies for ObjectDesktop. https://www.stardock.com/products/odnt/

Why am I getting a message that Fences will expire in 5 days when I have paid for it? Could you please check?

Please try the purge and reinstall steps as mentioned here : https://forums.stardock.com/486084/fences-support-faq#reinstalling
Just make sure to re-download Fences installer again from your account. Reboot after the purge. Reinstall, using the installer you just downloaded. Reboot again. Reactivate again and see if the massage reappear.
