Offline De-activation

Hello all,

I am working in an environment that does not allow communication with the Fences activation servers.  In order to install the program we utilize the offline activation method.  However, when we move a user from an old system to a new system we need to de-activate the Fences product in order to re-activate on the new system.  Is there an offline de-activation option?

Regards,

Daniel

Sean,

Thank you for that reply.  While I appreciate the account de-activation option that is an unrealistic option in an enterprise environment.  Although we don't utilize an enterprise level licensing or deployment method we are still hamstrung by the enterprise level red tape.  Our software asset management team controls information that would be relevant to account setup for the products.  Unfortunately this information is not given to end users.  Or if it is, is promptly forgotten and lost.  I'll look into this and see how far it gets me.  Thank you!

Daniel

PS:  Having an embedded client option would be quite helpful for support technicians world wide! ;)

Yes, for any large scale deployment, it would be a nightmare.  If at all possible, the command line option - which would need Internet access - is the only real practical choice.
