Scroll bar handle color

I struggle to see the scroll bar handle on many software packages (why do developers think almost white on white is a great idea??). Searching for a solution to changing the color of the handle to suit me requirement resulted in me downloading Windowblinds trial. I'm somewhat of a noob, so after a few hours' playing I'm no neaarer a solution to my issue. I tried a few of the themes, but none of them really addressed my problem without major changes in looks I didn't like.

My question thus: How do I use Windowblinds to change the scroll bar handle to a color of my choice in the default Windows 10 theme?

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. As far as I know, Windowblinds, almost all the themes offered are getting away from that default windows 10 theme. There is no theme that I know off just change the color of Scroll bar handle.

There is no easy option to change that specific part without using the whole theme.

So, there's no Windowblinds can be used to force the scroll bar to (say) white as it is now and the slider to (say) black?

Not that I know off. You can't change just that part. Windowblinds don't work like that.

It like change all or nothing with Windowblinds. There are few minimalist theme out there that might have black scroll bars. You might need to do some hunting for it. https://www.wincustomize.com/explore/windowblinds

I tried a few themes, but didn't find anything I like. I now applied the "default" theme, but some applications have some funny colors. Will all of this disappear when i uninstall Windowblinds?

Not too sure about that. If you choose default, it is like disabling Windowblinds so everything should change back to its default states. But, sometimes its best to "reboot" after applying default theme just to make sure everything is back to normal, prior uninstalling.
