Fences does not run and cannot be uninstalled

Hi, today (June 26, 2019) I downloaded Fences for a free 30 days trial. I have a Windows 10 version 10.0.17134.829.

I unchecked installing other options and only chose to install Fences. There is a screen that pops up to choose from registering the product or use it for a 30 day trial. clicking on any of those blue buttons do absolutely nothing. That window keeps to be opened and I am unable to close it. Also, I am unable to uninstall Fences. It does not show in the add/remove program list.

Please HELP! I just want to be able to remove it from my computer.

Thank you for your quick response. I just did a purge and rebooted. No changes. I am still getting the windows pop up with 3 blue buttons to purchase or start a free trial. Clicking on any button or the top corner X does nothing.

Any other ideas please?

Hello,

Sorry to hear you are having issues.

Try follow this path and delete the Fences folder and reboot see if that works for you

Path C:\Users\your name\AppData\Local\Stardock\Fences3

Hello,

Sorry to hear you are having trouble.

Are you certain it is Fences and not another one of our trial apps that can be installed with Fences?

I found and deleted the folder @ Path C:\Users\your name\AppData\Local\Stardock\Fences3

After reboot, I am still getting the pop up with he 3 blue buttons. Even after force closing it, it keeps popping up. This is really getting annoying.

Today ,Originally, I did download the Fences executable from Stardock website @ https://www.stardock.com/products/fences/download

And I uncheck another app installation when I was asked. So I only installed the Fences app.

I know the purge file did what it was supposed to do. All references from windows registry to Fences are deleted.

I am really stuck here. What else can be starting this pop up window?

Is it possible to contact and ask a Stardock developer for help?

End of amirghodrat's quote

Post an image of the popup and the contents of this directory:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Stardock\Fences

The default directory that Fences is installed in.
