Start10 Taskbar icons non-rsponsive

There area lot of times when the icons on the Star10 taskbar will not be responsive.  For example, clicking on any icons I've pinned to Quick Access will not do anything; this also happens on the up arrow button -- it won't expand and pop-up the rest of the system trays.  I notice that this typically happens when:

  • After logging in, there's an Internet issue, and one of the apps on the system tray can't login/connect, i.e. Team Viewer
  • After coming off a game that was running on full screen mode

What's weird is that when this happens, I can press Ctrl-X to display the Start menu, all the icons/buttons that came with that functions.  After successfully launching an app off that, it goes back to the Start10 taskbar (?) and that is still not functioning.

Is anyone running into this issue?

Hello,

Sorry to hear you are having issues. Please, try the purge and reinstall steps : https://forums.stardock.com/486022/start10-support-faq#reinstalling

Just make sure to re-download the latest version from your account. Reboot after the purge. Reinstall using the latest version you download. Reboot again. Retest and report back here.

Thank you,

The taskbar is not provided by start10, it only provides the menu itself.

Does the start button continue to work or the Windows key?
