Fences can't handle most custom icon distances vertically

Hello,

I just installed Fences 3 the very first time. Unfortunately as soon as the program is started, all icons on the bottom row above the task bar move somewhere else. I can't drag any icons there, it's a huge gap which I can't use anymore when Fences is active.

So usually I can have 10 rows of icons on my 2560x1080 desktop screen but with Fences there are only 9 available.

But I already know what the problem is:

There is a known registry setting in Windows where you can set the distance of the desktop icons horizontally and vertically. This way you can have more lines or columns of icons or longer visible labels as you prefer. There are several tools available which allow to modify those parameters easily.

Unfortunately the Fences enhanced desktop doesn't respond to most of those fine granular values in vertical direction.

For example: I use 72 units distance vertically. But Fence's desktop doesn't respond to values between 71 and 79. So if I want to get rid of the big gap at the bottom I would have to use a very small distance (like 64) or a pretty large one (82).

But interestingly Fences can handle horizontal fine granular distance changes without any problems.

So why doesn't Fences support Windows' vertical distances correctly?

Thanks

Robbson

PS: I am using Windows 7.
