Fences Change Monitor When I Turn Them Off and On

I have dual monitors, and I like to keep my computer on 24/7. I do, however, turn off my monitors every night. Whenever I turn them off and turn them back on, my fences all jump from my second monitor over to my primary monitor. Each and every day I have to go into Layout and Snapping and restore an old layout to put them all back, otherwise I have to drag them myself and resize them all.

Any reason for this, and if it's a bug, can it be fixed? I've never had any issues with Fences in Windows 7. Windows 10 is just a nightmare with this, as well as other applications.

Thanks.

Hello,

Sorry to hear you are having issues. I too have 2 monitors but I don't have any issue like you describe above. Not sure if this will help, but can you try to set your fences to Lock?

Try it and let us know.

Thanks

Thank you for the suggestion. Unfortunately, that did not fix it. They still jumped over to the other monitor after turning them back on.

2) Secondary : Display Resolution, connection type : DVI/HDMI/DP/USB, Scaling.

Secondary Monitor - 1080 x 1920 24" Monitor - Turned Portrait - DVI  - Scale - 100%

Out of curiosity, can you just test and set your secondary monitor to Landscape mode and see if the problem happened. If possible try reboot after setting the Landscape mode and retest it.

Did Murkan14 ever resolve this problem? I have the same issue. I tried the above suggestions. Is it possibly a graphics card problem? Mine is 5 years old, but the drivers are up to date. The problem only developed recently when I had a Win10 crash and had to reinstall.
