"Serial is not valid" when trying to register license-key in "my account"

Hi all,

I have gotten a license for my workplace through a 3rd party that handles all of the company's software purchases.

When I went to activate my Fences 3 in the pop-up, it said that my email wasn't valid for this productkey.

I then went to "my account" in order to first register the product on my account, but when I typed in the product-key in the "Register your stardock game or application", it gave me an "ERROR, The serial entered is not valid"?

Is it possible I have gotten a non-valid serial-number? Stardock doesnt have direct support for this topic (as far as i know), but our company's software supplier doesnt know why its different either.

Does anyone know how to handle this?

Thank you all.

Hello,

Sorry to hear you are having trouble.

If your email does indeed end in @siemens.com, then you are just using the wrong key.  Use the following to get the proper one

Hi Sean,

It does indeed end in @siemens.com.

When I try to recover the key I do get a "useable" key, but that key is already in use with another colleague. So I was wondering why i had recieved this "OD"-key and what does it have to do with which kind of email I have?

Thank you for all the answers!

The OD key you are trying to use (with the wrong email) is tied to an @comparex.dk address.

It seems they might have "forgotten" to send the right serialnr. to me. Will investigate further with them, thank you very much for now!
