iconpackager help

my 30 days is nearly up on iconpackager when i presume it will stop working. went on to stardock website to check out registering and have realized i have to download a different version i thought i would just be able to register product and enter key in the product i have. any way what i want to know is do i have to uninstall shareware version first or can i install over the top and what do i do about icons i have downloaded etc any help would be appreciated i don't want to mess up my pc does it uninstall ok

As long as the present Iconpackager folder is in 'program files/stardock/object desktop' it will overwrite it and there will be no need to move your icon files...if your present folder is anywhere else then move your icons to a temp folder, uninstall old version, install new version and move icon files into the new folder........

thanks yrag yes it is program files/stardock/object desktop are you sure i can do that its the shareware version and not a older version

yep.........if however it would make you feel better about it then move your icon files and un-install old version, install new version and move icons back........
