Start 10 Replaces pinned apps when trying to pin additional apps

Every time i try to pin certain windows 10 apps like Your phone or Microsoft store, it will replace other ones in the list. 

Additionally i don't know why there is a separator and would like to remove it.

I'm running build 1809 of windows 10 and this is a new install of windows.

Hello,

Sorry to hear you are having issues. You should be able to add more icons if you increase that "Allocate room for at least.."

Try that and let us know.

I can add more win32 or standard windows programs however as soon as i try to add certain windows apps like Microsoft store, Halo app or the your phone app, they will only replace each other still. I increased allocate room to 20 in this picture. Some apps work fine such as Halo wars 2 or the settings app.

Hello,

I saw that behaviour but I would suggest a workaround by pinning apps using the Right panel Universal Applications menu. Refer to attached s/shot.
