Can't hide search icon on taskbar

start10 1.7 and windows 1903

Hi,

Using windows 1903 and start10 1.7, i can't hide anymore the search icon from the taskbar, if I right-clic the taskbar and choose "search > hide", it switch back automatically to "show search icon" (i'm using windows in french, so i'm not sure about the label of those options in english)

Note that the option from start10 in appearance called "replace start10 with cortana search" is ticked, because i personally don't want the search bar in the menu. And in Bureau, the option "hide taskbar search" is also ticked.

It looks like a bug.

Thanks!

I see what are you seeing now as well as some other odd behavior with it.

While MS could change something at any time, thus I cant promise anything, I will report it internally.

Thanks for the heads up.

Not completely true, this release 1903 is in the release preview canal, meaning that microsoft will only resolve bugs but won't make any breaking changes. I guess the developers from stardock know better than me about that, so i think they will fix those little bugs.

Thanks for reporting !
