Fences 3.0.9.11 Limiting New Fences To 5 icons Deep (IE: 5 Rows)

I am running a purchased copy of Fences 3.0.9.11 on a fully up to date Win 10 Pro.  It has always behaved well but it has taken to not allowing more than 5 rows of icons in any new Fence.  This results in it adding columns rather than depth.  It did not used to do this – I have Fences with 10 or more rows.  I recently ran Windows utilities DISM and SCF.  SCF repaired a couple of items.  I then removed Fences using your batch file and reinstalled it.  No change.

Any ideas on what is happening and how to correct it?

Hello,

Sorry to hear you are having issues. Need to know more on your system.

1) Windows 10 version. Use winver.exe for full version number.

2) Please try set your icon size to Classics and see if the problem goes away. To get to it : Right click on desktop -> View -> Classic icons.

Try it and report back. Thanks

Winver
Version 1809 (OS Build 17763.379)

Showing on Desktop Display

WIN 10 Pro Build 17763.rs5_release.180914-1434

I set it to Classic

Tried it with both existing and new Fences.
No change except Classic allows six rows instead of five - suggests a physical limit such as pixel count?

Rebooted, repeated tests with same results.

BTW, this behavior started before the last couple of Win updates

OK, I did a clean reboot.

Fences worked fine so I began re-enabling processes and restarting.

Re-enabled all processes in sections and Fences still working as it should with all re-enabled.

Did a 'normal' reboot on the new clean ID.  Fences still working.

Went back to my normal login (which is also an Admin).

Fences behaves as it did previously, limited rows.

Disabled all processes on this ID,
still limited rows but it seems that there are different numbers of rows in different Fences.
I don;t see any obvious correlations.

Re-enabled process and am back where I started from.
