Fences has suddenly started moving all fences to secondary monitor

I've been using Fences for years, and never had this issue. Been using the latest version (3.09) for several months. Today, Fences has started insisting that all icons be on a secondary (smaller) monitor. I've tried restoring yesterday's backup (with correct layout), and the icons will move to primary monitor and then, seconds later, move back to secondary monitor.

My setup is that I have three monitors (laptop and two secondary monitors - one above, one to the right). Different monitors at work and at home, with one of the three having a different resolution. Until today, Fences has been handling this just fine - icons are always on the primary (laptop) monitor.

What gives? Why this desire to move to icons to monitor 2 (with lower resolution)? Why is Fences not respecting a restore layout request?

Hello,

Sorry to hear you are having issues. Since it been working just fine before. Would suggest for you to look into what change recently. New software installed? New driver updates? Fences don't usually change behavior by itself.

But, you can seem to figure it out, you can try the purge and reinstall steps : and see if it helps : https://forums.stardock.com/486084/fences-support-faq#reinstalling

Just make sure to re-download the latest version from your account. Install that version and reboot. If you wish to backup your layout snapshot before the purge you can do so using this steps : https://forums.stardock.com/486084/fences-support-faq#backupsnapshots

Try it and let us know.

Thank you,
