Star Wars anyone?

I've been amazed at how little star wars stuff you find on this site . . . not complaining, just surprised? I wonder if the average "skinner" doesn't jive with the Force . . .

shame about the copyright thing . . . wouldn't that be in place for all the "Matrix" stuff we see posted? . . . besides, not to get in a war or anything, but Yoda himself puts all of Star Trek to rest . . . nothing like a little friendly competition!

Yeah Its really a shamed about the copyright issue with a lot of the things that would look great as skins and designs. I have a Star Wars skin with all the works, but its only for my personal use. Themes such as the Matrix doesnt get restricted by the copyright laws since the coded text and the colors and fonts (wich are basically the things used on the themes) are not registered marks of Warner Brothers.
StarWars on the other hand, well.... everything about StarWars is trade mark, register mark and copyrighted to LucasFilm, including the logo. >

Ohhhh, by the way.... Yoda would kick Mr Spock's pointy ears

Star Wars rules and Star Trek sucks. Star Trek is a boring piece of communist propaganda. Star Wars is action/adventure and pro-democracy.

I would love to see Star Wars themes if any skinners can get the flanneled one's permission.

Smee Hee is correct, its the way Kryten say's it as he cannot be 'rude' so to speak to others
Reply #15 Top
Kryten's programming won't allow him to say smeg head. In an attempt to insult Rimmer he gets as far as 'smee hee'...

Its the thought that counts

I do not agree with that statement.

Let me ask you this... which Star is more realistic? the way technology is heading, star trek is becoming in a small way, the future. decides, star wars episode 1 and 2 were 2 of the worst movies of all time. Lucas should not have relied so much on CGI and computer made special effects. They have to much of a fake feel to them. I would rather watch harry potter.

There is no point in comparing them regarding which is more realistic. Star Trek is set in our distant future, while Star Wars is set a long time ago in a galaxy far far away. Obviously, realism was not one of its goals.

Anyone who goes around dressed up in Star Trek uniforms and speaks Klingon needs to get a life. I don't believe our future will look like Star Trek. Science Fiction novels from the past were not exactly accurate in what our time is like right now.
