fences what is the proper way to back up?

So I just found out I had object desktop for 1 yr (yes you get the program forever) just without updates however I did not back it up hence the reason I just purchased fences as a standalone program.  (All year fences was the only program I used)

So now/today I purchased fences it is only for a year. Once per year maybe even twice per year I will reinstall my Operating system anytime my PC is slow/ virus (easier for me). Question...

What are the necessary steps to backup fences, so I do not have to pay for it again on my PC? The download .exe is what I need to save to a different hard drive? Or do I need to go into my computer,c drive, program files x86, stardock fences and copy all files to a different hard drive?  Thanks in advance.

Oh, one other question, if I purchase 4 or 5 fences (since you can only install on one computer) when I found out how to backup, do I need to back it up x 5 purchases or back up once and just save all 5 key codes thanks.

Hello,

Try this link to back up snapshot  https://forums.stardock.com/486084/fences-support-faq#backupsnapshots

Just backup your download installation file to an external drive so you can remember

where it is and save your Keys with it .

you can use this link if needed to get a key https://forums.stardock.com/484254/getting-your-products-and-keys

For personal use only you can install up to 5 personal PC's. https://www.stardock.com/support/software-eula
