hi i need help my cousin use style xp i sent me a screen shot of a skin she made and it is pretty cool and i asked to port to wb4 for me she said no cause she wont have anything to with dont ask me why.so she said i could so the ? is how do i port it

Currently there is no program available to port skins from StylesXP to WV4. If you want to port it then you have to do it manually. But there is one problem with that port. Your cousin doesn't give permission to port it, so it means you cannot upload it to any site. Porting without permission is called "ripping". You need her permission first and that permission must be included with the skin.

The new version of SkinStudio will import StyleXP themes and save them in Windowblinds format. Some tweaking is required, depending on how picky you are

wouldn't it just be simpler to get STYLE XP? Then all the porting?

The program is real cheap. And use the xp when you like a theme, and then WB when you like a theme?

If I remember right (it's been a while) I think you get the program for a month for free before you have to pay for it, and it's fully usable.

StyleXP is not a skinning progam, it's a dll patch, that allows the use of unsigned MSStyles. There are various other reason why one might prefer to stick with WindowBlinds.

I'm curious about using it for free for 30 days, and then pay............. if you don't pay, does it repair the dll file, so that unsigned MSStyles can no longer be used?

Its FREE and does exactly what StyleXP does. StyleXP is a scam.
