Hello,
I use the latest version of Fence on Windows 7 with two screens.
Randomly, the shortcuts that I put in my Fence disappears. Restoring a snapshot does not solve the problem.
I uninstall Fence completely and reinstall later but that does not solve the problem.
Do you have a solution to solve this problem?

Sorry to hear you are having issues. Need more information. When you said shortcuts disappears. You mean it move to desktop or totally disappears? Do it reappeared on the desktop if you disable Fences?

Shortcuts disappear completely. It is not moved on the desktop.
Shortcuts do not reappear when Fence is disabled.

Okay, this shortcuts is pointing to files/applications in your Hard drive or on a network drive? Can you try the purge and reinstall steps to see if it helps : https://forums.stardock.com/486084/fences-support-faq#reinstalling
Make sure you re-download the installer from your account. Reinstall that version and reboot. Retest and report back.

Hello,
The problem happened again today. Here is a description of the type of environment the user is using.
The user uses a laptop with a Dell 24-inch secondary display. The user also works from home with the same laptop, but with a 24-inch HP display.
The user needs this regular connect to terminal servers for are working.
Restoring a snapshot does not work.
Do you have another solution?

Fences can sometimes have trouble with network shortcuts on the desktop when the destination is no longer available (you are not on that network any longer).
A work-around for you if you have networked shortcuts on your desktop. Please refer to the video and instructions below:

Step 1: Create a folder on your local PC; in Documents is as good as any
Step 2: Create a Fences folder portal to that local folder you just created (not to a network location). It, at this time, is empty.
Step 3: Go to the network location and create shortcuts to the data \ app you want.
Step 4: Move the shortcuts to the folder on the local PC... or.. directly into the portal (same destination).
The difference here is that the network shortcuts are not on the desktop but are on the local PC.
