Hello,

Sorry to hear you are having issues. May I know what error message did you get everytime you try to download the purge.bat file? http://sd.stardock.com/zubaz/apps/Purge_StartALL.bat

Thanks

Great, thanks for the BIG info. For your info, I can get to it with no problem at all. Seem to me that there is problem on your side. Maybe something is preventing your system from downloading "*.bat" files.

Thank you,

I have downloaded the fix, restart and installed start 10 and the same thing happens, if i turn off the computer over night and start it again the next day the original windows 10 start menu is there, i have to restart my computer again and then start 10 works, every time i cut the power to the computer (over night) this happens.

I think something is interfering with Start10. Please try the cleanboot procedure to see which application is interfering with Start10. https://forums.stardock.com/486022/start10-support-faq#cleanboot

Try that and let us know.

BTW, Please us know more on your system:

1) Windows 10 Version : Use Winver.exe.

2) Start10 version.

Thank you,

It has to be something with the boot, as long as i turn of the computer and don´t cut the power to the computer it works, but when i pull the power plug and leave the computer without any power over night it stops working when i boot the first time, if i restart the computer it works.

That is why I suggest the cleanboot.

BTW still need that information :

1) Windows 10 Version : Use Winver.exe.

2) Start10 version.

Thank you,

Here's an odd question....are you allowing Windows to have a paging file, or perhaps you are following the [wrong] notion that if you have lots of ram you don't need one?

If Win is managing a paging file as it needs to....just ignore me.  If not...let Win have one and see what happens...;)

I have the paging file set to automatic, never changed that, its seems that start 10 works for now, don´t know why, this problem started about a week ago, windows did update right before the problem started.

Same problem again, start 10 has been working for 2 days, but today when i started my computer the standard Windows 10 menu was there again, i don´t know what to do.
