How come when I click on the Top Authors link almost every app says "There is [sic] no new skins today." It doesn''t seem to make sense.

What''s with the smilies?

I see a lot of that too jcg, I dont know if it has anything to do with the recent server problem.

What's this? The smilies aren't working, but your frownies are?

BTW, I noticed that although clicking on the smiley icons doesn't do anything, it still translates the text you type in into emoticons where appropriate.
