WindowBlinds Taskbar Folder View Problem
I can't see the names of the open folders in Windows Explorer or Internet Browsers
Hello Everyone! I am new to this forum and I would like to say hello to all of you. I have been using WindowBlinds for a while now but this is my first forum post.
I'm experiencing a problem with WindowBlinds 10.65 AND the new beta version. When I apply a style (I am currently using 'Echo') the desktop looks fine. I rely on being able to see the names of the folders that are open in Windows Explorer Google Chrome and Firefox. When I hover over the icons of the applications I am using the folders are spread out in a neat horizontal line. When I have 8 or more folders open, then Windows changes the folder views to vertical and since I prefer the horizontal view, I can go in the vertical view and close them. This makes the folders revert back to horizontal view.
Since I started using WindowBlinds (again) I notice how the folder views don't line up side-by-side but remain stacked vertically no matter how many folders are open. I would prefer to work in horizontal view because it smooths my workflow. To make matters worse, I can't read the names of any of the open folders that are stacked vertically unless I hover over the folders name. So now, if I am looking for a particular folder I have to hover over each one until I find the one I want.
So what I do is open WindowBlinds and press the Apply button and everything looks the way I want it. But everytime I restart the computer WindowBlinds reverts back to a vertical stack of folders that I can't read and then I have to open this application again and re-apply the settings. This process is frustrating because I have a lot of files that need to be digitally cataloged, I have a deadline for this project and this interrupts my workflow. This issue may seem trivial but after having to go through these steps over and over again is not only inconvenient but it is really starting to grate on my nerves.
Could someone at Stardock-WindowBlinds look into this? Thanks.
Regards
